Tokio Hotel in a hungarian cyclopaedia
In
Hungary the Vagabund Publisher in this year published a book about the
biggest performers of the rock music life! And the most important thing
for us is that they wrote about Tokio Hotel!!! Roughly they said good
things about them and they didn't mentioned stupid things like they are
an emo band or other things... The books title is 'Rock Cycopaedia -
From Metallica to Kraftwerk' and it was written by Zsolt Horváth.
So here is the 'article':
Tokio Hotel
Everybody knows this name: if she is just a teen, because of that,
if she has a child in this age like this, then because of that. The TH
- madness has conquered in all over Europe. The band's albums are
banged on the peaks of the selling records, and on the concerts it
cannot be stir from the teenage chicks who are screaming hysterically.
As a concomitant phenomenon, in the bigger shopping centres, TH-mugs,
pillows, schoolbags and shoes has appeared.
The German band's frontmen are the insolently youthful Kaulitz twins:
the mascared and at the first sadly hanged down haired and then splayed
haired Bill and Tom who crossing the rasta hair with baseballcap. The
brothers started the music when they was 8-9 years old. Mainly this may
have come true because their foster-father have an own music school.
Tom wanted to play in an instrument, which was the guitar finally. Bill
was the singer, although according to his own acknowledgement, he tried
with instruments (for example with the piano). They performed on school
balls, smaller outings, and everybody was charmed from their beaming,
natural childlike charm. However the rhythm section was missing from
the band. With the drummer Gustav Schäfer and the bassgitarist Georg
Listing, the twins got acquainted in an appearance, and with them they
established their band, Devilish. Between 2001 and 2003, they played in
this name, and then David Jost, manager discovered them. They signed to
the Universal, and they changed the band's name to Tokio Hotel. Why?
According to the band members Tokyo is a big city, where something
always happens, and because they almost always live in hotels, that's
why they are Tokio Hotel.
Albums: Schrei (2005), Zimmer 483 (2007)
Unfortunetly there aren't picture
about the boys but this is the front - page of the book and they are
mentioned in the book reviewer!
